Overview
This is my recent 2 week itinerary traveling round trip around southern Taiwan from Taipei in the north. I owe most of the details to Nick Kembel and his amazing Taiwan travel resources. This page details my specific trip and the things I did and learned to that might be useful if you want to plan a similar itinerary.

This is a long travel day. 2 trains plus 1 bus to Alishan. We were lucky and got the last bus of the day, so plan accordingly. If you miss the last early afternoon bus, the next one isn't until 6am the next morning |
